Kings Canyon Hike
I did an overnight hike with a good friend of mine last summer. We went to Kings Canyon outside Fresno. We parked at Cedar Grove and hiked up the Woods Creek Trail. It was a stenuous hike at times, but it was all worth it when I got to do some star gazing that night. It also coincided with a big meteor shower. I know this isn't my usual fare - no cars or motorcycles here. I've never been a big outdoors person, but this was a lot of fun. We even spotted a small bear on the hike back. If you're considering hiking in the Sierras, and Yosemite is crowded as usual this might be a good choice.

For me, hiking is more about....napping. |

So tired. Trying to beat the setting sun back to the trailhead was hard work. |
